Several of these companies are involved in Desalination and other methods of making salt water and other contaminated water supplies safe for drinking. Despite the fact that 2/3's of the Earth's surface is covered with water less than 1% is actually Potable Water (safe for drinking). Forty countries actually have no safe water. Mexico is one example. Even San Diego here in the United States has no clean water supply and must siphon off water from the Colorado River.
